Life Unscripted: Photographer Writes of Travel through
Images
After wandering the globe with a wide eye, acclaimed photographer
Clint Baclawski captured the essence of life and history in each of
his images.
In the recent past he was honored with two first place awards from
the Shutterbugs Annual Photography Competition.
Baclawski’s photographic eye possesses a breathtaking degree
of wisdom and inspiration. Each of his prints depicts a scene from
his journeys - locales including Brazil, Oregon, Cuba, upstate New
York, and Maine.
In one, a brilliant purple Havanna sunset frames the dark silhouettes
of local children gazing into the sky. It not only is a spectacular
photograph, it serves to remind us that no matter the language or
location, we are all human, existing in unity on one beautiful planet.
While the photographs are grouped as a collection, each stands alone
– stunningly rich in texture, symbolism, color, and life. The
most difficult part about attending this exhibit will be the desire
to buy every single photograph.
All of the images are un-posed, capturing the passionate spontaneity
of life unscripted.
