Peter Keating ....
Peter Keating (also known as Jeff Forbes) was a painter of American
landscapes who specializes in painting rural scenes such as "Rural
Elegance," a limited edition print commemorating the opening
of the James A. Michener Arts Center of Bucks County. Signed by James
A. Michener, America's favorite writer, and Peter Keating, the artist,
only 300 of the prints were released. Jeff Forbes died November 18,
2007.

Dear Friends and Family,
December 9, 2007 would have been Jeffrey's 58th Birthday. We would
like to ask any of you who would like to join us in a candlelight
celebration of his life to reflect on Jeff, his artistic contributions
as Peter Keating to the world and the love, joy and wit that he brought
into our lives. His sister, Christie, came up with the great idea
that his birthday would be the perfect time for us to each light a
candle at 9:00 PM Eastern on December 9 and reflect quietly wherever
we are for 9 minutes on Jeff. Just remember 999, which stands for
December 9 (his Birthday) 9:00 PM Eastern time so that coast to coast
we’ll all be sending him our love and energy simultaneously,
and burn your candle for 9 minutes. 999. He left us so suddenly and
unexpectedly that, we’d like to provide him unified comfort
in feeling us all focusing on him at the same time. Some of you may
even want to pull up the web site that displays some of his work while
you reflect on him.
